ECF Ltd & Luxe Ltd
Independent kitchen company Luxe Kitchens, based in Leicestershire, is redefining how designers work, and ECF is proud to actively support that evolution.
Founded by Luke Niblett, Luxe Kitchens was built on a forward-thinking business model designed to empower experienced kitchen designers to work independently, on the road and closer to their customers, rather than from a traditional showroom. From the outset, ECF has worked alongside Luxe to help turn this progressive concept into a practical, scalable and professional reality.
After twelve years in the sector, first as a cabinet maker and later as a designer, Luke recognised an opportunity to create a business that would give designers greater freedom, creativity and earning potential. With ECF’s manufacturing capability, infrastructure and ongoing support behind him, Luke has been able to focus on developing Luxe with confidence. His ambition is to grow the business into a franchise model, enabling talented designers to run their own projects under the Luxe brand while being supported by proven systems, trusted suppliers and a strong operational foundation.
“Luxe is built around the idea of putting the power back into the hands of designers,” says Luke. “By franchising, I want to give others the opportunity to work for themselves, while still having access to the guidance and resources that make success achievable.”

A Partnership That Complements
Through its partnership with ECF, Luxe is able to offer customers a complete showroom experience without the overheads or limitations of a fixed retail space. The ECF Design & Marketing Suite in Leicestershire acts as a natural extension of Luxe’s business, providing a professional, inspiring environment where customers can fully engage with their designs and materials.
“The showroom at ECF is a major asset for us,” Luke explains. “It gives our customers the opportunity to see and feel the quality of the product, from doors and colours to carcass options and hardware. That experience plays a huge role in building confidence and helping clients make informed decisions.”
By opening up its showroom facilities to Luxe, ECF helps bridge the gap between flexible, designer led working and a high end customer experience. Clients visiting the showroom are inspired by real world displays and gain new ideas for their own homes, reinforcing Luxe’s design led approach while showcasing the quality of UK-manufactured kitchens. This collaboration supports Luxe’s commitment to local sourcing and sustainability, values that align closely with ECF’s own manufacturing ethos.
“When I started Luxe, I wanted to move away from imported kitchens and source everything locally,” says Luke. “Working with ECF has made that possible. Together, we’re creating high-quality, UK made kitchens that rival premium European brands, while being more cost-effective and environmentally responsible.”

Beyond Manufacturing
For Luke, ECF’s support extends well beyond manufacturing alone. By offering a streamlined ordering process and access to a complete product range, ECF has helped Luxe reduce administration, improve efficiency and present a more established, professional operation to customers.
“ECF offers far more than manufacturing,” Luke explains. “I can order an entire kitchen, cabinetry, sinks, taps and appliances, all through one point of contact. That level of organisation and support removes a huge amount of pressure and allows me to focus on growing the business. Working with ECF makes Luxe feel like part of a much larger, well-supported operation.”
A key part of that support has been Mark, Luke’s Territory Sales Manager at ECF, whose guidance has been instrumental since Luxe’s earliest days.
“The support I received from Mark when I placed my very first order was exceptional,” Luke says. “He guided me through the design and ordering process and really put my mind at ease. His product knowledge is outstanding, and whenever a challenge comes up, he always has a solution.”
Luke also highlights the wider ECF team and culture, which has helped foster a genuine partnership rather than a simple supplier relationship.
“Whenever I need anything, I can just call the office,” he says. “We all know each other, and the team consistently goes above and beyond. It’s reassuring to work with people who genuinely care about the success of your business.”
This responsiveness and reliability allow Luxe to remain focused on delivering exceptional customer experiences, secure in the knowledge that its supply chain and support network are in safe hands.

Shared Vision for the Future
As Luxe Kitchens prepares to roll out its franchise model, ECF continues to play a pivotal role in supporting independent, design led businesses to grow sustainably. Through its infrastructure, flexibility and service first approach, ECF enables Trade Partners like Luxe to develop innovative business models while maintaining craftsmanship, quality and customer experience at their core.
Both businesses share a commitment to collaboration within the KBB sector, demonstrating how independent designers and local manufacturers can thrive together by aligning expertise, values and ambition.
