Delivery Driver

As one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of Kitchens, Bedrooms and Bathrooms, ECF is expanding its business portfolio. As a Delivery Driver at ECF, you will play a pivotal part in helping the business grow and develop.

The role is varied and demanding where a flexible “can-do” attitude, pro-active and motivated approach is essential. You will be working within a small highly motivated and professional Transport Team delivering Kitchens, Bedrooms and Bathrooms to our customers throughout England and Wales. Experience of working on your own initiative, servicing multi drop order deliveries. If you are an experienced, enthusiastic, and self-motivated Van Delivery Driver then we would love to meet with you!

The Role

Loading and unloading of orders onto/off the delivery vehicles.
Driving professionally equipped 3.5 Tonne vans.
Ensuring that our products are delivered to our customers in perfect condition.
Building and maintaining excellent working relationships with all customers on your delivery routes. Both trade customers and end users.
Ensuring that delivery documentation is signed/receipted upon delivery.
Ensuring that you play your part in looking after our delivery vehicle fleet i.e. cleanliness, damage control and reporting, legal compliance.
Basically you are responsible for all undertaking duties expected of a Professional Driver.

The Candidate

Minimum - 2 years experience as a multi-drop delivery driver. [Required]
Maximum - 6 penalty points on your Driving Licence which must not include convictions for dangerous/hazardous driving and similar offences. [Required]
Highly organised, detail oriented and efficient approach required.
Strong communication skills.
Results-driven personality.
Able to multitask in a dynamic environment while still paying close attention to detail.
Ability to carry out loading/unloading duties which will include lifting/carrying of products.
